The sales and marketing of the Prague Congress Center are managed by Roman Sovják – Médiář
The Prague Congress Center has two new directors. He now holds the key strategic position of sales and marketing director Roman Sovjak, who has more than 25 years of experience in the tourism and congress industry. He has become the new General Manager of the Holiday Inn Prague Congress Center Kamil Zlomek, which comes with twenty years of experience in managing international hotels in the Czech Republic and abroad. Among other things, both top managers will be fully involved in the implementation of activities related to the Czech Presidency of the European Union.
Sovják comes after nine years of leading the Czech branch of the international organization Superbrands, which provides marketing research, brand-focused events and, above all, a global brand ranking. Prior to that, he managed business activities at Lobkowicz Events Management or Augustine Hotel. Sovják’s main responsibility at the head of the sales and marketing department of the Prague Congress Center will be the repeated start-up of the congress business as a key source of revenue after a two-year outage caused by a coronavirus pandemic.
Zlomek, the new CEO of the Holiday Inn Hotel, which also belongs to the Prague Congress Center, until recently led Hotel International Prague and previously spent many years in various management positions in the Orea and Marriott Hotels hotel chains in the Czech Republic and abroad. Now his task is to restore full hotel operations and gastronomic services for the congress industry and corporate clients, which is essential for the Holiday Inn.
