Near Toulouse, a little girl hopes to return to her dear family after the death of her mother
A little girl, Lily Rose, torn from her place of life, in Auzeville-Tolosane, is in immense pain. Her mother died at the end of 2021, she felt good at her aunt’s house, but the justice decided otherwise by placing her with her father, several hundred kilometers away
In the Dispatch of December 24, we will tell the story of Lily Rose. This 7.5-year-old girl arrived in the town of Auzeville-Tolosane in 2016 with her mother, Virginie, who raised her alone since birth. Virginia’s state of health causing her to be hospitalized more often, a children’s judge decided in April 2021 that Lily Rose’s father “far from understanding his daughter’s psychological needs, was unable to ensure the place of Virginie B.”.
against everyone’s will
She then entrusted Lily Rose to her maternal aunt Armelle and her spouse, “able to provide him with good conditions for development on a material and emotional level”. Virginie B. unfortunately died on November 14, 2021. In the misunderstanding and in haste, the same judge decided that the father would henceforth be “able to understand the needs of his daughter and to take care of her”. On December 27, Lily Rose, against her always expressed will, was torn away by her father, in the presence of the mayor and the former mayor of the commune of Auzeville-Tolosane, from her familiar place of life, from love of her maternal family and to her cousin who became a brother, to her school and to her friends, to the grave of her mother buried in the town where she frequently went to quench her thirst.
Armelle, since the departure of her niece, has been sounding the alarm: “The judge made a mistake: Lily Rose’s father is doing nothing to ease his daughter’s pain. He refused psychological support, he confiscated the cell phone I had bought her so that she could communicate with my son Nils, he refused to allow her to come here during the winter holidays, and preferred to enroll her in recreation center.
Judgment on appeal tomorrow
“When I talk to my niece, it’s under his control and he snatches the phone as soon as he doesn’t like what we say! He took his mother’s photo from his room and never talks to her about it. her, he works late at night in a restaurant and leaves his daughter with people she does not like and with whom she cannot confide. We are talking about a 7-year-old girl who has just lost her mother and that I have in tears on the phone and who begs me to pick her up, ”continues Armelle.
The appeal hearing has been set for Friday, February 18. Armelle prepares for it and hopes that only her niece’s interests will be taken into account.
