PARLIAMENTARY DIALOGUE – Working visit to the Republic of Moldova of the Legal, Numbers, Discipline, Immunities and Validation Commission of the Romanian Senate
ACTIVITY – PARLIAMENTARY. On February 10-11, 2022, a delegation of the Romanian Senate, composed of members of the Legal, Numbers, Discipline, Immunities and Validation Commission, paid a working visit to Chisinau, at the invitation of Deputy Olesea Stamate, Chair of the Legal, Appointments Committee. and immunities within the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova.

During the visit, the members of the Romanian delegation also met with Igor Grosu, President of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, and Sergiu Litvinenco, Minister of Justice, during the meeting being addressed issues of common interest regarding the functioning of the judiciary in the two countries.
During the talks with the representatives of the Republic of Moldova, the Romanian senators mentioned that a solid cooperation with definite results on the line of the two legislatures will play an important role in the development of politico-diplomatic relations between Bucharest and Chisinau, given the existence of specific elements based on language . , culture and history, as well as the bilateral Strategic Partnership for the European integration of the Republic of Moldova.
