Four men accused of having thrown a sexagenarian from the top of a bridge, tried in Toulouse
The assize court for minors in Haute-Garonne is judging all this week, from February 14 to 18, a case of rare violence. Four men, including one who was only 17 at the time of the events, are accused of having murdered a sixty-year-old by throwing him into the Garonne from the top of the Empalot bridge. The facts date back to July 2018. The victim seems to have ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Violence comparable to that in the film “A Clockwork Orange”
This night of July 17, 2018, the victim, 61, decides to pass her in his car in Toulouse on the Nakache swimming pool car park. The man was woken up by his four attackers who beat him, took him with them to a distributor, retired twice 100 euros then threw him into the Garonne by passing him over the railing of the high bridge of Empalot on the bypass.
One of them said:
What if he recognizes us and files a complaint?
Just before becoming irreparable, the four attackers would have spent two hours in different areas of Toulouse, Pont des Catalans, Avenue de Muret, one on a bicycle, the other 3 on foot, attacking passers-by. they don’t know how to steal their bank cards and mobile phones. Nothing seems to be able to stop them. Several actors in the case speak of equipped Savage and scenario way Clockwork Orange where violence strikes at random.
The defendants aged 20 to 28 today blame each other. None admits having thrown the victim into the Garonne. They encourage life imprisonment except for those who were minors at the time of the events. The trial is held at brothel.
