Expedited Lyon and Paris
OL and PSG overflew their late match of the 12th day of D1 Arkema on Friday by signing two clear victories against Soyaux (8-0, photo) and Dijon (5-0).
Olympique Lyonnais and Paris Saint-Germain left no room for doubt or suspense and even less hope for their opponents during this evening when the D1 Arkema calendar was updated.
The leader and his runner-up made it a mere formality, as evidenced by the largesse of their successes obtained at home at the expense of ASJ Soyaux (8-0) on the Rhone side and Dijon FCO (5-0) on the Paris side. Both thus remain on their positions in the standings – OL ahead of PSG by three lengths – and definitively prohibit any hope of a return to their pursuers.
Their pursuit will resume after the international break (and the Tournoi de France for Les Bleues) on the 15th day scheduled for Saturday February 26 and Sunday February 27: Paris SG will travel to Fleury FC and Olympique Lyonnais will go to Stade de Reims.

Lyon in demonstration
Before kick-off, nothing seemed to be able to prevent the Lyon leader from signing against ASJ Soyaux (10th) a fourteenth victory in a row this season, and the facts confirmed it in an inflexible way for the Charentaises. This is Ada Hegerberg (main photo) who opened the Lyon attacking festival in the 18th minute (1-0), for the first of his three goals of the evening (52nd, 70th). A double from Catarina Macario (38th, 87th) and achievements from Griedge Mbock (45th+1), Melvine Malard (71st) and Inès Benyahia (77th) then gave the evening a demonstration of Sonia Bompastor’s players.

Paris was in a hurry
If Dijon FCO hoped to repeat the performance achieved in the Coupe de France against the Parisiennes (0-0 before elimination on penalties in the round of 16), it quickly understood that its task was going to be more difficult. From the 2nd minute of play, Grace Geyoro already has the advantage to a PSG determined not to relax its grip. With for confirmation, a double from Marie-Antoinette Katoto on crosses from Baltimore (recovery from the foot, 15th) and Lawrence (diving header, 42nd). Didier Ollé-Nicolle’s players would add two goals in the second half on a strike from the left of Sandy Baltimore (58th) and a direct free kick from the left of the German Sara Däbritz (70th).
