Russia will allocate almost 6 billion rubles for environmental research
According to Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko, the study of identified cases of gas contamination, their coverage and other scientific projects related to ecology and climate change, corresponds to the amount of 5.9 billion rubles. Federal scientific and technical program in the field of environmental development of Russia and climate change, designed for the period up to 2030.
“The program is aimed at creating science-intensive technological solutions in the field of environmental safety, improving the state of the environment, studying the climate and deviations from the norm to its changes,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.
Main areas of research: greenhouse gas emissions, sustainable socio-economic development, technological solutions for the study of emissions and sinks of gas emissions, measures to take into account the impact on the environment.
Abramchenko calculates that this will help the development program of scientific and research centers, which will allow to realize the discovery and the possibility of discovering minerals.
As a result, Russia will have a scientific and methodological basis for eliminating errors in the environment, Abramchenko hopes. On its basis, it is possible to build forecasts of risks and opportunities for the economy of the regions of the country, as well as to reconcile the restrictions of carbon regulation.
