Prague deals with land swaps with the state and FNKV. A new trauma center could be set up Company News Pražská Drbna
Thanks to land exchanges that Prague is negotiating with the state and the Royal Vinohrady University Hospital, the hospital could gain space to build a new trauma center. On the other hand, the amendment, which was approved by the councilors of the capital, would give the city the opportunity to modify the area of the tennis courts and their surroundings in Letná or to improve the conditions for rescuers located at 28. pluku Street in Prague 10.
Shifts would be beneficial for the state, Prague and the hospital
Prague discussed possible land swaps with the state. The capital could get tennis courts in Letná or a villa near the Vinohrady hospital for land in the area of the Royal Vinohrady University Hospital. Thanks to the exchange, the courts would not be sold to private individuals and space would be created for the trauma center. The villa could be used for health care purposes.
“The press, which we agreed to, is preparing an amendment that should unblock the long-prepared and already approved exchange between the capital, the Royal Vinohrady University Hospital and the state. This shift is key from several factors, for example, for the hospital means the opportunity to acquire much-needed land for the construction of a trauma center, which is currently insufficient and is very necessary for the development of the hospital and the construction of a new workplace in the capital. With this press, Prague was to acquire three key properties – for example, the court complex in Letná, which will consolidate the land, ” said the councilor of the capital city of Prague for property Jan Chabr (TOP 09) with the proviso that I want to prevent the land from falling into the hands of private owners. “We declare that we will keep these lands as a leisure sports complex,” he added.
Chabr also added that Prague should get an exit station in 28th Regiment Street, which necessarily needed reconstruction, or a building in Říčanská Street. It could serve within the strategic development of Prague’s social and health services. The shift must be approved by the Prague City Council.
