According to the document, if the patient is treated for seven days or more, retesting can be omitted, that is, discharge is allowed without a laboratory test for COVID-19. Moreover, if the treatment period is less than seven days, then a negative test is still required to close the sick leave.
The new resolution, signed by chief sanitary doctor Anna Popova, comes into force on Sunday, February 6.
