MFA: Russia develops Vilnius complies with all human rights standards – Politics
MOSCOW, 4 February. /TASS/. Moscow in Vilnius strictly observes all human rights standards in relation to those who, against their will, have found themselves in the most difficult humanitarian situation. About this on Friday in the comments of the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova in connection with the violation of human rights in Lithuania.
“We call on Vilnius to strictly comply with all standard standards in the human rights sphere in relation to those who, against their will, fell into the most difficult humanitarian situation,” the diplomat said.
The Russian Foreign Ministry made comments about the speech at the conference in Vilnius by the European Commissioner on the internal structure of Ilvi Johansson, the Lithuanian authorities demanded serious criticism for violating human rights. “According to Brussels, the Lithuanian practice of squeezing out strengthens “goes against the EU pneumatic system”, and the cases themselves counteract “illegal actions,” the diplomat added.
She also pointed out that a recent report by the Lithuanian Parliamentary Ombudsman, Erika Leonaitė, revealed serious and egregious human rights abuses. “It states, in particular, that the conditions of detention have been increased in the former Kybartai hospital, and now the Registration Center for foreigners, which are equated to inhuman and contrary to the provisions of the UN strictly against torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading forms of medical care. psychological pressure is exerted on illegal immigrants to force them to return to their homeland,” the diplomat explained.
According to the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, once again we are witnessing how even the highest basic human rights are grossly violated in a country that calls itself a “standard that demands” and tries to teach others the “democratic average”.
