the play “Window on her” at the Grand Rond Theater
Journey behind the curtains. The new creation of Wilder Company“Window on her”, will be represented from February 8 to 12 at the Grand Rond Theater. The story told will be that of a woman dreaming of her past life watching a couple of neighbors through the window every day.
“She, alone, brought back to her condition as a new mother, and, he and she, happy and in love, bringing her back to her life before,” says the Toulouse theater in a press release.
A true story
Between voyeurism and fascination Diana is a portrait of our contradictions. And for good reason, for her first alone on stage, the actress Kristina Dekens reports real facts.
“By seizing this true story, Kristina evokes milestones in a woman’s life and the consequences they can have both mentally and bodily,” explains the Théâtre du Grand Rond.
A cinematic scene
The piece highlights questions about the relationship to the body, the upheavals of motherhood and daily injunctions. All in a very special atmosphere, pushing the viewer to want, too, discover the secrets hidden behind the curtains neighbors. “The staging by Corinne Calmels and the lighting design by Margot Fallety give this camera a cinematographic look”, underlines the theater.
