Councilor m Prague agreed with an amendment that would address some property deficiencies between the state and the metropolis. Thanks to land shifts, the Royal Vinohrady University Hospital could gain space to build a new trauma center. On the other hand, the capital gained the opportunity to further expand the area of the tennis courts and their surroundings in Letná or to improve the conditions for rescuers who are located at 28. pluku Street in Prague 10.
At their Monday meeting, Prague councilors discussed the possible exchange of several plots of land in Prague with the state. For the land on the premises of the Vinohrady hospital, which thus gained space for the construction of a trauma center, the capital could acquire, for example, tennis courts in Letná, which could be sold to private individuals, or villas near the hospital, which could be used for the expansion of the Prague health care system.
“With the press, which we agreed to, we are preparing an amendment that should unblock the long-prepared and already approved exchange between the capital, the Royal Vinohrady University Hospital and the state. This shift is key from several factors, for example, for the hospital means the opportunity to acquire much-needed land for the construction of a trauma center, which is currently insufficient and is very necessary for the development of the hospital and the construction of a new workplace in the capital. With this press, Prague should acquire three key properties – for example, the court complex in Letná, which will consolidate the land. We wanted to prevent these key plots from falling into the hands of private owners, who may have tried to change the zoning plan. We declare that we will keep these lands as a leisure sports complex, “says the councilor. m of Prague for the property area Jan Chabr.
The shift should also include the exit station of the Medical Rescue Service of the capital. m of Prague in the street 28. pluku in Prague 10 – Vršovice. Prague ambulances depart from this station and the metropolis could thus create more dignified conditions for rescuers by reconstructing the building.
“It is important that we should get the exit station at 28th Regiment Street, which is in dire need of reconstruction, and it houses an emergency service today. Among other things, they should also acquire a building in Říčanská, which should serve for the strategic development of Prague’s social and health services in the future, “adds councilor Jan Chabr. The shift will still have to be approved by the City Council. m of Prague.
