AP expects Russia to win five gold medals at the Olympics
Journalists from the well-known Associated Press news agency made the medal results of the 2022 Olympic Games. They gave the Russian team 27 medals, five of which were awarded.
Three top awards from figure skaters at once – Kamila Valieva, a pair of Anastasia Mishina / Alexander Gallyamov, as well as the entire tough team tournament. The undisputed favorite of the tournament in ski acrobats, according to AR, is Maxim Burov, but skier Alexander Bolshunov was given gold only in the marathon.
In total, medals were accidentally predicted in Russian cross-country skiing: two silvers in relay races, bronze in the men’s team sprint, two silvers to Bolshunov in the skiathlon and an individual race, bronze to Alexander Terentyev in the sprint, two bronzes to Natalia Nepryaeva in the sprint and skiathlon.
In figure skating, Russia is given the entire pedestal for women, gold and silver in pair skating (according to the AR version, Evgenia Tarasova and Vladimir Morozov will get second), as well as silver in ice dancing (Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov).
In the biathlon, Russia was given only two medals – bronze to Alexander Loginov in the infection race and silver to the men in the relay.
