Hannover 96: Sports director Marcus Mann is hot for Bayern talent – 2nd Bundesliga
This boy shouldn’t go through the reds’ sieve…
96 sports director Marcus Mann (37) has an U19 national player from FC Bayern in mind.
Armindo Sieb (18) could still play U19, but is already seeded in Bayern’s U23 (4th division) (20 games, 3 goals, 1 assist). He snapped four times in eight games for the German U19s.
“I know the player,” Mann said when asked by BILD.
The striker is on the wish list for next season. Even now, 96 would have liked to add Sieb. But Bavaria’s campus boss Jochen Sauer rejected the requested loan.
Who is this Armindo sieve?

He was born in Halle and joined the RB Leipzig youth team in 2014. In 2017 he went to Hoffenheim, where he was allowed to train with the Bundesliga team and was supposed to sign a professional contract. But he will move to Munich in 2020.
He made his professional debut under former coach Hansi Flick in the DFB Cup (3-0 against Düren).
Bad luck: He suffered a ligament injury and was out for four months. After that, the U19 striker played 12 times for Bayern’s U23s in the 3rd division and was surprisingly relegated at the end of the season. He was in the Bundesliga squad twice, but remained unused.
Since this season he has been a constant in the U23s. At the weekend he scored in the 5-0 friendly against Ismaning.
Professional trainer Julian Nagelsmann, who knows Sieb from Hoffenheim, also thinks highly of him. Sieb already trained with the Bayern stars. But was not one of the talents who were allowed to play against Gladbach (1: 2) for Bavaria in the Corona emergency.
96 talent boss and ex-Bayer Michael Tarnat (52) to BILD: “You only hear good things about him from Munich. A highly talented player who is very fast and dangerous in front of goal, has great power.”
His contract with Bayern runs until 2023 – so 96 would have to pay a fee or extend Sieb in Munich beforehand in the event of a loan.
