The Compagnons du Tour de France organize open days in Lyon and Annecy
The Compagnons du Tour de France and the Companion Federation open their doors on 28 and 29 January. On this occasion, practical workshops to discover professions will be organized in the center of Lyon. “Other open days will be held on February 16 in Lyon, and March 26 in Annecy”, says a press release.
The Companions of the Tour de France present for eight centuries
The Compagnons du Tour de France network trains and supports young people and adults looking for qualifying professional training, in short or long format, through learning combining traditional gestures and modern practices. “Notre-Dame, the Eiffel Tower… The companions have been recognized for the excellence of their practices in the building trades for at least 8 centuries!”
The establishments are present throughout France and offer professional training, work-study or continuing education, in 10 families of trades: carpentry, wood construction, masonry, tiling, stone cutting, carpentry, cabinetmaking, roofing, zinc work, plumbing , heating, air conditioning, painter, plasterer, decorator, locksmith, metalwork, public works, design office & CAO-DAO, bakery-pastry.
