the Chief of Police of the province of Florence suspends the license for a public establishment in the historic center of Florence for 5 days
From today 20 January the suspension of the license for 5 days for a public exercise in the historic center of Florence has taken place, pursuant to art. 100 of the TULPS, by the Questore of the province of Florence Maurizio Auriemma.
The measure, notified yesterday by the Administrative and Social Police Division of the Florence Police Headquarters, was adopted following the findings of the past weekend.
In fact, around 11.00 pm on Saturday 15 January, the agents of the Administrative and Social Police Division observed four young customers, visibly minors, buying bottles of beer without showing identity documents.
As soon as they left the shop, the boys were identified and, immediately, the seller was sanctioned both for selling alcohol to minors under the age of 18 and for selling alcohol in the Unesco historic center after 9.00 pm.
The provision adopted by the commissioner highlights how a dangerous situation emerged from the facts in question that it was necessary to intervene in order to avoid that the sale of alcohol to minors by the public could have further and worse consequences, causing social alarm.
The commissioner therefore considered the existence of dangerous conditions for public order and the safety of citizens in the public establishment in question since, with carelessness and carelessness, alcoholic beverages were sold to minors, taking a conduct that created danger for the greetings from young customers.
