Creative contest: young people and entrepreneurs
Six innovative projects, led by young creators, were rewarded by the Créactif competition.
The winners obtained funding from the Métropole, supplemented by the CJD Normandie (Centre for Young Leaders) and Crédit Agricole. Their projects focus on different themes: the environment, car sharing, gardening…
The 2021/2022 winners
Pauline Beuzelin
Mid-June – Rouen
Grant: €8,000
The project: to create a workshop for making clothes and household linen from a raw material created by spinning mills that have relocated their activity to France. Mid-June helps to support youth employment in rural areas and to be part of a zero waste approach.

Marie Caumel
Colette soap factory – Rouen
Grant: €8,000
The project: to make artisanal soaps made from local and regional products (coffee grounds, beer from a brewer, etc.). The Colette soap factory is for people who want to take care of themselves while preserving the environment.
Pauline Figuet
Crumpled tatas – Rouen
Grant: €7,500
The project: create a third place to develop links between residents with a resource center (clothing and furniture), cultural programs (workshops, debates) or a neighborhood concierge for exchanges of services, knowledge and actions of solidarity.

Normandy Car Sharing – Rouen
Grant: €5,000
The project: develop a car-sharing service using a platform to reduce the environmental impact of vehicles. The cars are second-hand vehicles bought in Normandy, converted to car-sharing thanks to a connected box which allows access to the vehicle via a mobile phone.

Energy Vagabonds – Rouen
Grant: €10,500
The project: acquire and then fit out a utility vehicle to make it a mobile workshop for discovering low-tech construction, simple, robust and energy-efficient technological solutions.

Grant: €8,000
The project: to create an urban farm to host workshops for children, participatory work sites in the garden, training for individuals, seminars while allowing residents to acquire organic products in a short circuit.
