An escape game offers to find the solution and your soul mate
Finding a soul mate in addition to going out. This is the promise of the very first Escape Dating in Toulouse, a fun new concept to brighten up and facilitate the search for singles. If 36 “guinea pigs”
register until then, the first evening of hearts to take will rather take place around Valentine’s Day and more probably on Friday February 11 in the vast premises of Tactisens, this well-established escape game that gives pride of place to the five senses. For the regulars, know that the master of the place, the disturbing (and megalomaniac) Dr. Windar, not happy to have found the formula for eternal life, now boasts of having unearthed that of “true love”.
So, no, the creators of the place do not claim to have become specialists in romantic encounters. But witnesses of alchemy can sometimes create a game, if, by dint of observing stressed players from their control booth. “We are still becoming quite specialists in the group atmosphere, the links that are created or strengthened, and in this way that the players have to discover themselves differently”, notes Anne-Marguerite Monory, the founder of Tactisens. She also sees in Escape Dating the possibility of a seduction “in real life” more engaging than a virtual crush leading to an endless evening alone together at the restaurant when we understood from the first seconds that wouldn’t fit.
False algorithms but real opportunity to meet
And then Marguerite Monory also thinks of the amateurs who demand “open games”: those who are alone or too few to register in a group for an escape game but still want to be part of it from time to time.
In concrete terms, the only amorous intervention of Tactisens will be in the constitution of groups of 36 for Friday evenings thanks to the questionnaires, which will remain highly confidential, completed online at the time of registration (at 60 euros per person). Singles will then be divided into games – classic escape game or “sensory adventure”. And while Dr. Windar will pretend to tweak his algorithms by taking himself for Cupid, he will in fact let the magic of the game operate, the flashes will shoot their arrows, the eyes will cross and the mandatory masks will maintain the share of mystery. The big plus of this four-hour evening, to kill two birds with one stone (at first sight), is the cocktail reception that will follow the resolution of the puzzles. The participants could allow their affinities and exchange their coordinates. Choose the codes themselves in short.
