Sporting and Mirandela win the Portuguese Cup in table tennis
The event took place at the Cultural Center of Viana do Castelo.
Sporting, in males, and CTM Mirandela, in females, this Sunday won the Portuguese Table Tennis Cup, which took place this weekend at the Cultural Center of Viana do Castelo.
The team from Leon won 3-0 against GDCS Juncal in the final, reaching the final stage four victories by maximum difference, against GDCS Juncal, AR Novelense, ADC Ponta do Pargo and GD Toledos.
In the women’s sector, CTM Mirandela secured the title with a 3-2 triumph, in a match against Juncal’s Azorean team, which played in both finals.
Sporting added its 33rd Cup of Portugal, while CTM Mirandela raised the current for the 25th time.
