On Wednesday, January 5th, 2022, two people pretended to be police officers and carried out an alleged traffic control on Vahrenwalder Straße. One of the fake officers stole cash in the four-digit range and a man’s ID.
According to previous police investigations, a 50-year-old drove on Vahrenwalder Strasse in the city of Langenhagen at around 11:30 a.m. When a white Ford Focus drove next to him, the passenger held what appeared to be a police ID card out of the window and asked the 50-year-old to stop.
