Frankfurt: 750 people want to protest against compulsory corona vaccination – counter rally planned
The largest demonstration on Saturday (January 8th, 2022) is to start in the Holzhausenpark in Nordend. Up to 750 participants want to run around 3 p.m. on a circuit through downtown Frankfurt to protest against a mandatory corona vaccination. Frankfurt: silent march “against discrimination and for human rights” on Sunday
On Sunday (January 9th, 2022), protests against the corona policy are to take place in Frankfurt. A silent march starts at 2 p.m. on Opernplatz. It should lead through the city center and arrive back at Opernplatz at 5 p.m. According to the website, the protest with the motto “Against Discrimination and Human Rights” is about “saving human rights such as keeping an independent decision about one’s own body without suffering discrimination when and against censorship of the press”.
The Frankfurt police had repeatedly disbanded earlier demonstrations and rallies from the “lateral thinking” scene because the protesters had not adhered to the mask requirement and the obligation to distance themselves. According to eyewitness reports, there were also attacks on the police.
