Biathlon / World Cup. Julia Simon second in the sprint at Oberhof!
Norway’s Marte Roeiseland left no chance for the competition. The yellow bib won the women’s 7.5 km sprint this Friday afternoon in Oberhof (Germany). With a 9/10 on the shot, despite the difficult weather conditions, it was very clean.
Behind, we find two biathletes tied, including a French! Julia Simon, also very clean in shooting with a 9/10, finishes at the same time as the Belarusian Hanna Sola, who made 8/10 in shooting. Both are 7 ”10 from Roeiseland.
Anaïs Chevalier-Bouchet also had a good performance as she was in 6th place, 26 ”30 from the best time and thanks to a nice 9/10 shooting. Promising for Sunday’s pursuit. Anaïs Bescond is not far either: 17th, 57 ”40 behind (8/10 shooting).
Chloé Chevalier, started with bib 1, finished 23rd (+ 1’15 ”30). Justine Braisaz-Bouchet is 34th despite 5 shooting faults! She finished 1’26 ”50 behind the Norwegian. Finally, Paula Botet, with a nice 9/10 shooting, is ranked 39th (+ 1’35 ”20).
