Is the time when hygiene was overshadowed by the questions of some citizens? How did you deal with this problem?
Our sanitary station provides an answer to a relatively large number of questions. However, at the turn of last year, the situation really worsened due to known circumstances, and the number of inquiries exceeded our staffing capacities. We had to set aside other employees who provided other rounds related to the current pandemic situation. Thanks to the cooperation with the Ministry of Health and colleagues from other hygienic stations, they nevertheless managed to handle the question.

And does the hygiene crack currently suffer from a personal shortage?
The personal situation is generally satisfactory within the current number of designated workplaces, but in the hygienic service at the present time and future work, there will never be enough students, professional staff and employees.

So far, you have been in the public health section. What can we imagine under the dark?
In fact, these are the central and identical shapes of all regional hygienic stations in the Czech Republic. This section includes all the professional forms on which the very existence and competence of regional hygienic stations stand. These are the following departments: anti-epidemic, general and communal hygiene, occupational hygiene, live and outdoor hygiene, and hygiene for children and adolescents. All these forms perform preventive and control activities in the field of protection and promotion of public health.

Will you follow up on the work of Zdeka Jgrov? V em?

Significantly, the situation and relations between people in the organization managed to stabilize after his entry into the head of the hygienic station. She was able to motivate her expertise, experience and insight to a great extent. No one can replace 100%, however, I will try to follow up on the work of Dr. Jgrov as soon as possible.

Zdeka Jgrov will definitely retire, or will he work with the hygiene station in some other position?
Dr. Jgrov’s erudition, knowledge and experience are still very important for the crack of hygiene, which is why we have agreed to cooperate in particular with professional questions related to epidemiological issues.

How do you consider your experience and skills to be the most important for your new job?
Evaluating oneself is not easy, but I believe that the ability to bring people together, coordinate a range of activities, focuses on the problem used.
