Small actions in Amsterdam of foreign corona policy – Wel.nl
AMSTERDAM (ANP) – On Dam Square in Amsterdam between forty and fifty people afternoon, the action group Netherlands in Resistance demonstrated the corona policy. They stretched out with slogans like: ‘I don’t have a QR code, but I do have a moral compass’. The action is peaceful, keeping a close eye on some of the group’s progress. By 2 p.m. all the demonstrators had left.
The intention is that there will be smaller demonstrations such as this one in various places during the days. According to organizer Michel Reijinga, there will be a total of fifty actions spread throughout the Netherlands on Wednesday evening alone. The farmers will participate, the football supporters too. The farmers will come up with pop-up campaigns. Haag is also a lot. The purpose of the actions is: we have to be visible.”
Earlier in the morning, dozens of people were also at the court in Amsterdam, after a call from the Netherlands in the Resistance. They wanted to show support for suspects who have to come to a quick judge, especially they were started on Sunday with a banned coronademonie on Museumplein. That demonstration is over.
The first suspect is a 56-year-old man from Almere. He is suspected of public assault. After this first super-fast trial, a decision will be made on extending the pre-trial detention of four other men in connection with public assault or assault on a cop.
