Toulouse: a dog attacks several people at the Matabiau station
A dog attacked several people this Sunday at the end of the afternoon in the area of the Matabiau station, in Toulouse.
At around 4.30 p.m., a train leaving for Lyon was about to leave Toulouse when a 19-year-old man and his dog, without a lead or muzzle, slipped into the bar car. This individual who walked without a mask and did not have a transport ticket was asked to leave the premises by the agents in charge of the catering. A request to which he responded with insults before finally leaving.
But his absence was short-lived since shortly after this episode, the man and his dog returned to the bar car. This time one of the waiters grabbed him. And this agitation excited the dog who bit the SNCF agent to defend his master. The 55-year-old employee was injured in the thigh, buttocks and arm.
Alerted by witnesses, SUGE personnel are mobilized to calm the situation. But one of these police officers was also bitten in the thigh by the animal. SACPA, the French leader in animal management in inhabited areas, arrived as reinforcements to catch the dog. His master was taken into custody.
