SunEnergy installs its first HUB to charge electrics in Portugal
ONE SunEnergy, a specialist in solutions for the production of electricity from the sun, has just entered the area of installation and operation of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (PCVE), inaugurating a new business area. The first HUB (space for charging vehicles) installed by SunEnergy was inaugurated in Leiria.
The company will, however, open six new spaces for charging trams in the coming weeks in the following locations: Guimarães, Matosinhos, Viseu, Coimbra, Loures and Loulé.
Raul Santos, general director and founder of SunEnergy stated that “this is Sunenergy’s first major step in the area of electric mobility”.
“A new business area for the company, which joins solar panels, its main activity, and which makes perfect sense, given its positioning as a company”, he also stated.
Each HUB consists of 1 150 kW PCVE (Ultra-Rapid Charging Station), which charges 80% of a battery in about 30 minutes, 3 50 kW PCVE (Rapid Charging Station, which charge 80% of a battery). battery in about 1.5 hours and 5 PCVE of 22 kW (Normal Charging Station), where about three and a half hours is needed to charge 80% of a battery.
Sunenergy won seven of the nine competitions held by Mobi.e, among more than 20 entities that competed.
