Only in the summer does the Spanish teenager move to Frankfurt, now the liaison seems to end prematurely. However, Eintracht could benefit from it.
Frankfurt – Last May, Eintracht Frankfurt euphorically revealed the transfer of Spanish teenager Fabio Blanco. About seven months later, however, there is nothing left of the coming euphoria. As one of the greatest talents of his year, Blanco moved to the Main on a free transfer. Now the 17-year-old is facing a premature goodbye, but Eintracht could still profit from the misunderstanding.
No compulsory play, no squad nomination – so reads Blancos sobering statistics in Frankfurt. The right winger has only played eight games for the A-Juniors since his move in the summer, but refused to make any further appearances for the U19 Bundesliga team from the end of November. “The fact is that he is currently not in the mood to be able to help the team, that’s why he is not in the professional squad”, head coach Oliver Glasner was quoted in the picture with regard to his Iberian problem child.
Eintracht Frankfurt: Teenager Fabio Blanco is likely to leave the club prematurely
For Blanco, the public criticism of his coaches was probably no motivation, the situation is now clearly coming to a head. The departure of the Spanish U19 international is a kicker report according to only formality. “The probability that he will leave us is very high,” said Frankfurt’s sports director Markus Krösche to the newspaper. Blanco was even released from training the last few days to look for a new club with his advisor.
Glasner also spoke to the kicker about Blanco’s personality and his view of things. “When you come to a club that plays internationally as a very young player, you have little training time. In addition, there is a new environment, a new language, ”is how the Austrian sums up the external circumstances. Blanco had also “never played adult football” and obviously lost patience.
Eintracht Frankfurt: Blanco farewell could pay off for the Europa League participant
The relationship between Blanco and Eintracht ends prematurely and in an ugly way. Nevertheless, the six-month interlude could pay off – at least from a financial perspective. Because FC Barcelona, who had already considered the native Andalusian in the past, should still be interested.
As the kicker reports, the curly hair is about to move to Catalonia. At Barça, however, the winger would only be intended for the second team, currently playing in the third division. Blanco signed a contract in Frankfurt that is valid until 2023, so Barcelona would have to transfer a corresponding transfer fee to Frankfurt. Information from the kicker would therefore be around 500,000 euros. In addition, various agreements would come in the millions in the event that the offensive man still makes the breakthrough or is resold. (jr)
