Toulouse. The Gaillac vineyards focus on business tourism
Maison Labastide has been playing on the wine tourism map for several years, an option that has been successful for it quite well. Cellar sales have taken off, permanent events, visits and one-off events have found their audience. For two years, it has been targeting a new target: business tourism, by organizing events within the professional or associative framework.
The site has two rooms which can accommodate 120 and 20 people seated and which overlook the barrel cellar. “We provide these rooms with all the equipment required for professional seminars: chairs and tables, but also a video projector and sound system” indicates Arnaud Elgoyhen, responsible for marketing and wine tourism.
Games for families
The cooperative cellar works with a caterer. The outdoor space is designed to accommodate 120 people, from May to October. On the entertainment program, introductory tasting and blending sessions, or even gourmet hikes. Today, it develops games capable of appealing to families with children, such as space-games and the various murder party formulas. Since this year, groups can even stay with the winegrowers, visit the farm with them and share an aperitif or a meal.
Maison Labastide wants to be part of the business tourism poles in Occitania.
