Calais: Mayor Natacha Bouchart attacked in the street
The mayor Les Républicains de Calais Natacha Bouchart was attacked on Wednesday, December 29 by a homeless person, while she was trying to free the passage from the entrance to a bank, and that the latter’s bag blocked access.
According to a source close to the file, the alleged aggressor, who was arrested and who will be judged in immediate comparison this Friday, December 31, did not know that she was the mayor of this commune of Pas-de-Calais.
According to the first elements, there were a total of three homeless people who prevented customers from entering this bank branch, given the large luggage they had in front of the entrance.
According to the voice of the North, a pregnant woman would have even tripped over it before being taken care of by the firefighters.
Our colleagues also mentioned the possibility that these three individuals “are highly alcoholic” at the time of the facts.
The elected representative then intervened and would have asked the homeless to free access, while warning the police.
It was at that time that Natacha Bouchart would then have received a blow, by one of these individuals, a Lithuanian according to the entourage of the mayor, and who must therefore be tried today, while a complaint has been filed.
