On New Year’s Eve, Budapest, Eger, Gyula, as well as Szeged, Hajdúszoboszló, Siófok and Pécs are among the most popular destinations, Szallas.hu told MTI on Thursday.

Of the accommodation types, apartments lead, accounting for 31 percent of bookings. The 26 percent greet the new year in guest houses, 23 percent in guest houses, 16 percent in boarding houses, and 4 percent in other types of accommodation.
