Captain Pohanka renews with the Hanover Indians
It was a completely strange game day on Tuesday: The first teams of the northern season lost their games. This also included the Crocodiles Hamburg, who entered the game at the horse tower as fourth and with 2: 5 documents. For the Hanover Indians it was not only a special game because of the victory over the Hanseatic city.

Nico Turnwald played the 500th league game of his career – and rewarded himself with a template point for the goal from Parker Bowles to make it 5-2. Branislav Pohanka was of course even more of a focus. The captain scored his 146th goal for the Indians in the regular season.
Pohanka overtakes Chamberlain
With eight play-off hits dying in his account, the 37-year-old has now scored 154 goals – replacing Jamie Chamberlain, who scored even more goals overall, including play-offs. Chamberlain congratulated on Facebook on the Indians page.
Captain extends contract
The German-Slovak Pohanka has been part of the ECH since 2015 – and will remain so for longer. Yesterday the Indians announced that Pohanka’s contract had been extended for another year. “Brano is the heart and soul of our team. Like every year, the most important piece of the puzzle is its extension ”, said coach Lenny Soccio, who will be competing with his team at EG Diez-Limburg today (8 pm).
