Assault on a restaurant in the historic center of Siena, there are injured
On the night of Thursday 23 November, about twenty young people attacked a restaurant to take revenge on the owner who had scolded one of the boys for throwing up at the entrance. The place in question is the Guido Restaurant, located in the Beato Pier Pettinaio alley, a crossing of via Banchi di Sopra.
The boy, after being scolded for the act, called a group of his friends who were drinking nearby. The owner and staff are successful in calming the youngsters down, but they lashed out at them with kicks, punches and objects they found inside the restaurant. At that point, employees and customers closed themselves inside the room waiting for the intervention of the police. Only a dozen young people were identified because others fled. Of these it was discovered that they are boys not of Italian origin, almost all from adjacent municipalities and with an age range between 20 and 30 years. Finally, the emergency room arrived and treated the owner and employees who reported a prognosis of several days.
