“Justice must show that we are not with Pablo Escobar”
Georges died following a fight between two gangs. For some, a release could rekindle tensions. “There were a lot of fights, sales stuff after Georges’ death,” says a participant. Justice must show everyone that we are not at Pablo Escobar’s, that we do not come out free six months later when we have killed someone. ”
The family lawyer, Jérémy Kalfon, fears for his part that in the event of release, the accused “could consult with a whole bunch of people, who have not been identified, but who could have play a key role in the death of this young boy ”. The judgment of the investigating chamber concerning the release or not should be known before Friday afternoon.
