The Accounts Chamber of Russia has developed and made publicly available training videos and presentations with the help of recommendations for officials on how it is easier to write in Russian about government issues. This is reported on website departments.
As noted in the message, the main goal of the training course is “the development of business speech competencies and increasing the clarity and accessibility of official documents.” The course was created on the basis of examples and materials from the reports of the Accounts Chamber, however, it can be useful to all employees of state bodies working with the texts of official documents.
The training consists of three blocks: “Basics of structuring information”, “Lexical and stylistic content of the text”, “Visual content”. Each of them includes a cycle of video tutorials and presentations to them. In total, there are 24 videos in the course, the total duration of training is four hours. The training materials were created under a government contract worth 1,375,000 rubles.

“We see a significant demand from society for the authorities to be even more understandable, to speak the same language with people,” explained Pavel Demidov, head of the Department of External Communications of the Accounts Chamber. According to him, the course was created for all civil servants, so that “each department has expanded the possibility of information about itself in a language understandable to all.”
Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Labor, on behalf of President Vladimir Putin, is implementing a bill obliging officials to learn the rules and norms of the Russian literary language. It is noted that according to the bill, knowledge of the Russian language will be supplied during the selection of officials for the position. Prior to that, a special 26-hour course was organized in Yaroslavl. Municipal employees studied after work, wrote dictations and corrected mistakes.
