Zhirinovsky called for the use of military force against Ukraine: Politics: Russia: Lenta.ru
LDPR Chairman Vladimir Zhirinovsky is a challenge to use military force against Ukraine if Kiev does not comply with Moscow’s demands for “reds” and security. He said this in an interview with the journalist of “Komsomolskaya Pravda” Vladimir Vorsobin. The recording of the conversation is published by URA.RU in its Telegram-channel.
“The only one can only be in Ukraine,” he said. “Not a single American or NATO soldier in the fields of Ukraine (…) will never fight NATO anywhere and for anyone, if this country is not a member of the NATO bloc.”
According to Zhirinovsky, Russia’s main “ultimatum” is that various political forces stop touching Ukraine and that it never becomes a member of the Alliance. “Stop torturing Russians and banning the Russian language!” – added the chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party.
In conclusion, he said that if Ukraine continues to insist on its own and does not fulfill the requirements to ensure the security of the “red lines”, then Russia “has the right to use military force.”
Earlier, the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada said that Russia’s demands to NATO regarding the expansion of the North Atlantic Alliance harm Ukrainian sovereignty. Ukraine, he said, will join NATO after Kiev implements the necessary criteria for this. He also spoke out against Moscow outlining any “red lines” in this matter and called these requirements “Wishlist” of the aggressor country. “
