Interclean Amsterdam 2022: these are the themes

Sugar Mizzy December 16, 2021

The organization of Interclean Amsterdam 2022 has announced which themes will predominate at the cleaning trade fair: Operational efficiency, Health & Hygiene, Technological developments and Sustainability.

Image that will define the future of cleaning

Robotics is certainly not a segment for Interclean Amsterdam, but the recent developments of new technology follow each other in rapid succession. Where application systems were once an ultimate but expensive solution, they have become indispensable for many different applications and solutions. It is an investment innovation that companies need to stay informed about in order to make good choices for the future.

The Robot Arena at Interclean Amsterdam 2022 not only offers visitors the chance to see the latest robots in action, but also to get a hands-on demonstration of what the new generation of robots can do for them.

Health and hygiene

COVID-19 provides new resources, requires new ways of working in all sectors and new higher demands will continue to exist.

As work arrangements continue to evolve and competition to develop good staff, better working conditions, including a healthy environment and the latest technology, a basic development of the new recruiting landscape.

Competition to recruit good staff is increasing

Ergonomic equipment, Cobotics are now increasingly part of modern cleaning processes alongside more traditional methods and will gain ground in the coming years. A number of progressive applications will be on display at the fair.

Software kills functional capabilities

In 2016, the Management & Mobility was designed at the cleaning trade fair, a part of the fair that is a pavilion for exhibitors who develop software and apps that stimulate cleaning productivity and effective. Management & Mobility has become even more important, which is why the pavilion will be prominent in 2022.

Sustainability will be at the heart of every segment

The Zero Waste Lab and Facility Inspiration Event will be the center of sustainability trends during Interclean Amsterdam 2022. With less than 10 years to avoid a climate catastrophe, cleaning companies are already working hard to adopt sustainable ways of working – from waste management to green adapting.

The circular economy, responsible products and vision management will be the common thread that connects many of the innovations that will be at Interclean Amsterdam 2022.

The Healthcare Cleaning Forum returns

After its successful introduction in 2018, the Healthcare Cleaning Forum in 2022, which will take place on Thursday 12 May, will continue important discussions of hospitals and infection prevention – organized in collaboration with top experts such as Prof. Didier, Alexandra Peters, Prof. dr. Martin Kiernan and Prof. Pierre Parneix.
