Maya, illusion of one ‘s own self – Prague 2
Maya, the illusion of one’s self
Samadhi is an old Sanskrit term for which there is no equivalent in modern language.
Samadhi is a concept that cannot be communicated at the level of thinking. This film describes the external manifestations of the author’s own, internal paths.
The film’s intention was not to teach Samadhi, but to inspire others to discover their own essence.
Samadhi affects us more than ever. We live in a time when we not only forgot Samadhi, but when we forgot what we forgot.
This oblivion is called Maya, the illusion of one’s self. As humans, we live most of us engulfed in our daily lives, and I think little about
who we are, why we are here or where we are going. Most of us have never realized our true nature, the “soul,” or what the Buddha calls annata.
The one that has no name or form and that is beyond thinking. That’s why I think we’re just limited to our bodies.
We live in fear, conscious or unconscious, that our limited nature, with which we identify, will one day die.
In today’s world, the vast majority of people practice religious or spiritual practices such as yoga, prayer, meditation, singing or other ritual, practicing techniques that are conditioned. That is, they are only part of the ego. Searching and activities are not a problem in themselves, the belief that you have found the answer in some external form. Identification with the general mind is a disease and Samadhi is a cure. Saints, sages, and awakened beings have all come to the wisdom of submission throughout history.
How is it possible to get your right major? If you look through Maya’s veil and set aside all illusions of your own self, what’s left?
