The material also includes the management of the Steinway & Sons concert grand piano for the Na Rejdišti Conservatory in Prague, worth CZK 4 million.
“The planned investment projects do not only concern building modifications and new constructions, but also the provision of sufficiently high-quality school equipment, such as at the Prague Conservatory Na Rejdišti. After the reconstruction of the concert hall of the Pálffy Palace, the hall needs to be equipped with a concert piano, and today there is no brand in the world that better guarantees the highest possible quality than Steinway. The conservatory’s concert hall serves the conservatory’s students not only to study, but also to present their performances and concerts to the public. It is also necessary to purchase a top concert instrument, “said the councilor. m of Prague for education Vít Šimral.
The Prague Conservatory Na Rejdišti provides complete secondary and higher professional education in the field of music, singing and music-drama. In addition to professional practical and theoretical subjects, the school also teaches general education subjects, with a specific focus on the student’s future profession, which is led by a number of leading Czech instrumentalists, actors and singers.
