IMMOVABLE – The SeLoger group has revealed a study showing the evolution of monthly loan payments in France. This shows an average increase of 124 euros per month for the purchase of a home, in comparison with 2015. Among the cities where monthly payments are experiencing a significant increase, Paris, Bordeaux and Toulouse.
34 French cities were scrutinized by Housing. The real estate group has thus revealed thatbuying your home costs on average € 124 more expensive per month this year than in 2015 in France. Certain metropolises in particular are experiencing a fairly marked drop in the purchase of real estate by their inhabitants.
To see it, study was based on All Inclusive Real Estate (ITC). This includes property tax and transfer duties, but also costs related to mortgage loans.
Monthly loan payments up to € 206 in Toulouse
In Toulouse for example, the ITC is 5,606 € / m². A cost including an increase in monthly payments to the tune of 206 € compared to 2015. The increase is still less obvious than in Bordeaux. The Port of the Moon is indeed experiencing an increase in monthly payments almost twice as high, with an ITC of € 7,324 / m².
No better in Paris where the stake has doubled again. The capital sees its ITC climb to 14.544 € / m² with an increase in monthly payments of 490 €.
A drop in monthly payments recorded in Perpignan and Toulon
However, some cities are doing better. This is the case of Perpignan, where the ITC went down to € 2,576 / m² thanks to a reduction in monthly payments of 105 €. These figures surprise Séverine Amate, director of public relations at SeLoger. “We could that this city, located near the mountain and the sea, have important roads, is rather subject to a strong surge”, she is astonished.
In Toulon too, data indicating an increase in real estate purchasing power. Its ITC posted 4,081 € / m² and a decrease over six years of 7%.
