The government will discuss parliamentary proposals, which should also address the covid epidemic

Prague – With a number of parliamentary proposals, several incentives or investment materials, suitable compensation for the loss of the government after a working day and after an occupational disease at today’s meeting resignation. In addition to the proposed program, the ministers should also deal with the current development of the covid-19 epidemic, due to which the Central Crisis Staff will also meet in the morning.
The Cabinet will probably support the parliamentary proposal of the former Speaker of the House Radek Vondráček (YES) to set the rules for lobbying, he should take a neutral position on the amendment YES to extend the powers of the Financial Arbiter. On the other hand, the government usually sends numerous SPD proposals to the Chamber of Deputies with a negative opinion. This should include drafting a ban on covering all or part of the face in public or direct elections of mayors and governors.
Due to redundancy, the cabinet will probably also oppose the SPD’s proposal to make March 15 the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the German Occupation of the Czech Lands. The government is also likely to reject a Senate initiative to legislate two new significant days.
The Cabinet will also discuss the Ministry of Regional Development’s proposal that public transport procurement authorities require at least part of the vehicle traffic. Compensation for the loss of earnings after an accident at work or after an occupational disease, but also for survivors, should grow as well as the percentage of the pension, which will increase by 1.3 percent from January, if still another 300 crowns.
The government could also consider a plan for compulsory vaccination against covid-19 people over the age of 60 and selected experts who are announcing in March with effect from the Ministry of Health. When announcing the latest coronavirus measures, which have been in force since last Friday, ministers also announced that they could assess their effects after ten days.
In the morning, the government’s Health Risk Council will address the epidemic situation. On Sunday, Deputy Minister of Health Martina Koziar Vašáková said that the new measures under consideration concerned the numerical reduction of mass events and the design of wearing respirators in schools.
