Sens Volley 89 wins (3-1) in Calais and remains second in its group
Sens Volley 89 coach Johann Guille feared a “trap match” among Calaisiennes who remained on a victory against Levallois (3-1), one of the big teams in their Women’s Elite Pool A. The Sens Volley 89 players did not fall into it: they won 3-1 (25-27, 19-25, 25-21, 18-25).
The Senese Lionesses were however scared by losing the third set (1-2) when they had won the first two. It was only a postponement: they won the fourth round, the last minutes of which were particularly tense.
The match sheet :
The leader Istres won in Vitrolles (3-0), like Levallois in Rennes (3-0). But Sens (19 pts), second and stalled between these two teams (20 and 18 pts), remains more than ever in the race for the first places.
The Senoneses will play their last match of the year 2021 at home against Rennes Étudiants club on December 18.
