UNICEF launches a podcast about celebrities’ childhood in Hungary
- Antónia Mészáros re-enters the chair
UNICEF launches a podcast and video series on the importance of childhood, That’s how I became with the title. In the new weekly production, stars, scientists, renowned professionals and public figures tell us about the early experiences, circumstances, relationships or even traumas that shaped their personalities. UNICEF has been working for 75 years to ensure that all children can develop their potential and have a healthy, peaceful childhood.
The conversations about the childhood of celebrities are led by Antónia Mészáros, Executive Director of UNICEF Hungary. In 2017, the Hungarian television specialist decided to devote all his energies to managing the activities of the prestigious child protection organization, interrupting his career on the screen. For the first time since his career change, he is back in the chair to ask famous public figures, stars and professionals recognized in their profession about the defining and unrepeatable early years.
“Childhood is the most defining stage of our lives. This is when it is decided how we connect with others, whether we can develop our abilities and how. An insight into our youth is always an intimate, often joyful, otherwise painful journey into the inside of our souls. These conversations provide an opportunity to get to know the deepest feelings of the reporter and even to discover connections that he or she may not have been aware of. But perhaps more importantly, we can also get inspiration and help to reflect on our own family past and present, the way we have become who we are today, and the way we accompany our children. ” Said Antónia Mészáros, it is That’s how I became host.
