Pop-up shop with significant Dries Van Noten pieces lands in Brussels – Fashion
Dries Van Noten fans can make their mark in Brussels this weekend. A collection of more than twenty years archive will be sold this weekend in a pop-up shop. The equipment is available for purchase online.
The pop-up store has a special backstory. Elisabeth, the driving force behind the store, got this extensive collection in the hands of her mother, Anne. Anne collected clothes from Dries Van Noten for no less than twenty years. The result of that passion for collecting is a historic series of iconic and forgotten pieces that show the evolution of design over the past two decades.
Last year in November Anne died of breast cancer. Elisabeth inherited the entire collection, but the love for Dries Van Noten did not pass from mother to daughter. That is why Elisabeth has joined forces with Laetitia Jeurrissen, the daughter of the boutique of the same name in Hasselt. Everything will be sold this weekend in a pop-up store in the capital.
It concerns both shoes and clothing from the past twenty years. Before sale, all pieces were photographed and archived. Via the Instagram account Heterodoxa.vintage you get to see a sneak peak.
The pop-up shop is located at 56 Besmelaan in Forest. Customers can visit it from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Prior to reserve a slot is required. After this weekend the collection will be via the webshop sold.
