Viennese success for the Scaligero tenor Cosimo Panozzo, fresh from a recital in the Austrian capital held at the Marmosaal of the Sacher Hotel (from which the famous chocolate cake also takes its name), which also saw the interventions of the pianist Luca Rasca and the violinist Roberto Noferini.
Historically frequented by the family of the Emperor of Austria, by royal families, and currently by the most famous men of international politics, artists and film actors, the complex on the banks of the Danube was the ideal location for the repertoire proposed by the three artists, who brought “Italy into the world” through the melodies of Mozart and Vivaldi – who in 1741 passed to “better life” right between the walls of the building that pre-existed the Sacher palace -, performed by Rasca and Noferini, as well as the most beautiful Italian songs by Luciano Pavarotti in his world tours.
The latter entrusted to the vocality of Panozzo, a former pupil of Ivo Vinco who perfected the tenor repertoire with Pavarotti and Raul Gimenez, in parallel with the degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of Verona. Accompanied by the pianist Rasca, Panozzo delighted the audience with “Marechiare” by Francesco Paolo Tosti, “Il canto” by Luciano Pavarotti, “A love so great” by Maggio and Ferilli, but not only. And as an encore; “Song in the wind “by Bixio Cherubini.
