Florenc station will be reconstructed, the track will be saved in Opletalov
At the same time, the tram line at the arrest of Opletalova Street is full so that it will operate for non-stop transport during the three and a half years, when the reconstruction will take place at the Florenc metro station, kf of the transport company (DPP) Daniel abk.
According to Miroslav Penc, head of the DPP Dopravn cesta Tramvaje unit, the tram lines will be in full service in Florence.
Passengers by subway C from the south, who will be traveling around Florence, will be able to get off at the main station and the tram will move closer to its climates. Likewise, travelers from the area around Florence heading north will be able to take the tram towards the Vltava region line C station and continue by metro to Penc.
The option with irreplaceable tram transport is, according to the way, less than irreplaceable bus transport, which would lead to the congestion of the northern highway. The streets of these cities really do not allow for any efficient transport, explains Penc.
Pest problem
The Florenc metro station normally switches from line C to line B. In the event of locks, the people will be able to change to a non-stop tram service on the main railway and get to Masaryk railway (via which the tram will run to Florenc and Vltavská). From Masaryk ndra you can take line B at the station Nmst republiky.

It will take some time before the builders begin to manipulate the first beams of the ceiling structure of the subway station vestibule. The first flight at the Florenc station could therefore take place in the next five years. The station will be impassable mainly on weekends or extended weekends. Line C will not run between Hlavn ndra and Vltavsk stations, line B will remain in operation without restrictions.
Dorms from the 70’s
The transport company is now renewing the tram line in Opletalova Street, just to a cut less than 150 meters long. Last week, members ripped off the dormitories from the 1970s, which left it there without a bend, which two connected to Bolzano Street. The DPP had the trolleys dismantled here in 2003.

The tram will not slip in front of the main station at the new end for the main tram transport. The trams will turn there through the so-called gate, due to which the transport company will deploy the two-way Tatra KT8 trams on the long line. He actually owns 52. The cars have doors on both sides and cabins go at both ends. The transition from one track to another is ensured in Opletalova Street by the so-called double track coupling.

The location of Vrchlický sad is currently only a town that people can quickly walk through when they go to the main railway. From the transport point of view, the new trams have a huge potential. Easy pedestrianized traffic in the center of Prague in Jindisk and Vodikova streets. The added value will thus connect the two train stations in the center, the main one and Masarykova, the head of the mayor for transport Adam Scheinherr (Prague reindeer).
Price for IPR
The architectural organization of the entire area in front of the main station, including the incorporation of tram lines, is provided by the local organization Institute of Fulfillment and Development (IPR).
Development of trams in front of the main ndram
At the moment, we are preparing a tender with a competitive dialogue on the area of Vrchlický sad, its theme will be both the park itself and the new tram lines in the Muzeum – Bolzanova section. Now the application is intensive with partners who are Dopravní podnik hl. Prague and the Department of Property Management at the Master, but also the Railway Administration, regarding the setting of the whole process and above the rear itself. It is important that the country does not act as a separate investment department, but as a whole, and to coordinate the individual topics of landscape, transport, social, urban and monuments, according to the IPR Anna-Marie Lichtenbergov.

The City Council has approved a development strategy until 2030. The most advanced project is the renewal of the tram at Vclavské nmst, where we are preparing project documentation. The Vrchlicki sad trail around the main railway will soon follow her, adds Jik.
