European Waste Reduction Week: how to participate in Monaco
The third edition of the European Week for Waste Reduction (SERD) takes place from November 21 to 29 and many players are participating in the Principality.
69: this is the number of project leaders who wanted to take part in the Waste Reduction Week (double that of last year!). In other words, the proposed program of activities is vast and varied. This year, the theme of sustainable communities was chosen by the Department of the Environment.
Activities and workshops planned for this week
A short, non-exhaustive overview of SERD program… This Monday, November 22, we are enjoying vegetarian dishes at the Columbus Monte-Carlo for Meat Free Day. On Wednesday, children will be delighted to participate in the Zero Waste Treasure Hunt, the Game of Tri and a Zero Waste Snack.
Thursday and Friday, drop off your baskets, gloves and scarves at the collection organized by the town hall. On Saturday, it will be possible to give your objects a second life at the Reparathon or to discover how to make your compost during a practical workshop. Finally, throughout the week, don’t miss the “Plaidoyer pour la Terre” exhibition and the “Barista Zéro Déchet” ephemeral space.
the Oceanographic Museum he also participates in the SERD with the operation “One day, one chef, an anti-waste recipe”. From November 22 to 26, Patrick Mesiano, Marcel Ravin and Sylvain Etiévant will take turns offering visitors an eco-responsible coffee break. Even the cutlery will be edible!
