Archery: Byzantine Archers Ravenna win gold medal in San Marino
The competitive activity of the Byzantine Archers Ravenna continues who, always looking for opportunities to stay in the game, competed on Sunday 14 November at the “XXVII National Indoor Tournament of the Republic of San Marino“Organized by the Archers of the Titan and Saturday 20 November at “Regional indoor 18 meters” in Fano organized by the Vega Archers.
Many kilometers traveled to follow a passion, rewarded by good results.
Protagonists, Marcello Tozzola, Angela Padovani and Concettina Palmiero who hit the mark on both occasions.
In San Marino the Ravenna archers conquer the gold medal with Marcello Tozzola in the men’s Olympic masters arch with a score of 563 (278 + 285), while Angela Padovani, in the female nude master archway wins the second pizza, and then the silver medal, with a score of 463 (225 + 238).
Closes the “virtual podium” Concettina Palmiero, which, with a score of 462 (226 + 236) wins the bronze medal in the Olympic women’s senior category.
Same fate on Saturday 20 November at“Regional indoor 18 meters” of Fano, where Marcello Tozzola climbs again on the highest square of the podium, but this time with the bare arch, conquering the gold medal with a score of 530 (265 + 265) for the male masters category. With this score Tozzola notes his new personal and companionship record.
In the same category, placement for Franco Bordoni who wins 6th place with a score of 442 (223 + 219).
Repeat the result obtained the previous Sunday Angela Padovani, who with a score of 442 (223 + 219) wins the silver medal in the female nude bow master category.
And one more third place for Concettina Palmiero with the women’s senior Olympic bow with a score of 459 (219 + 240).
Furthermore, in Fano, Palmiero also tries her hand at the bare bow, finishing 6th with a score of 281 (127 + 219) in the senior female category.
Next appointment for the Byzantines on the weekend of 27-28 November in Rimini, where a large group of Giallorossi archers will descend on the shooting line of the skating rink.
