The Salon Toulouse Vintage returns to the Hôtel-Dieu Saint-Jacques
“I really like this place, I find it atypical, it has a soul”, declares Audrey Quenin about theHotel-Dieu Saint-Jacques. For 4 years, the designer Toulouse Vintage Lounge organize the event in this place. This year, the show will take place from Saturday 27 to Sunday 28 November, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m..
More decor, fewer designers
For this new edition, lots of decoration and vintage furniture will be offered. Something to satisfy fans of retro furniture. On the other hand fewer designer stands Will be present. “There were too many to the taste of visitors in previous editions, so we went from around twenty stands to a maximum of eight,” explains Audrey Quenin.
Green workshops
Conversely, there will be many “greens” workshops. “We really want to emphasize the ecological aspect,” says the designer of vintage. For example, people from Toulouse can make dry hot water bottles, cello-bees (beeswax food film editor’s note), or natural toothpaste and deodorant. For the children, they can make a snow globe or a piggy bank with their little hands.
Small dishes in the big ones
Even the food will be green. With the À Tord l’Haricot food truck, visitors will be able to taste vegetable dishes made with local and seasonal products Sunday November 28. Before this green tasting, gourmets could go to the foodtruck of thai cuisine Saturday 27 November. But that’s not all, the Tartine & Lulu food truck will be present throughout the event to offer burgers and desserts.
