The London Knights, even without Maher, won the show jumping Super Cup in Prague for the first time

Prague – The London Knights won the show jumping Super Cup for the first time at the Prague Playoffs. In the final of the Global Champions League, they triumphed without the Olympic winner Ben Maher, who finished third in the Super Grand Prix on Saturday. The twins Olivier and Nicola Philippaerts, as well as in the semifinals in the line-up, were joined by Emily Moffitt, who became the first woman in the winning line-up of the Super Cup. The Czech Prague Lions team finished with Anna Kellner at six-seven and did not advance to the six-member final.
The Knights of London took a big step towards victory in the first round, when they collected only seven penalty points and had a three-point tip ahead of the Paris Panthers. The Berlin Eagles took third place. There was very little error in the last round and the order on the podium did not change. All three Knights riders drove clean and thus share 1.2 million euros (30.5 million crowns).
For the first time at the Prague Playoffs, Madrid in Motion, the winners of 2018 and the third team of last year did not reach the podium of 2019. They added to the nineteen penalty points in the first round in the next four and stayed one point behind Berlin.
Defenders of the Shanghai Swans victory, who finished sixth in another group. The favored team Valkenswaard United, the winners of the long-term part of the Global Champions League, did not succeed either. The Dutch team from the basic founder and head of the series, Jan Tops, took fifth place.
The Prague Playoffs are produced in Prague’s O2 arena even a year later.
