Dealers made up to 20 deliveries per day, directly to the homes of their many customers. Samuel Vuelta-Simon, the public prosecutor of Toulouse, confirms that a vast police operation last week targeted drug trafficking concentrated in the Pink City “which delivered the products, mainly cocaine, directly to the homes of consumers, on the “Uber” model.
The judicial investigation was opened on September 2 by the prosecution and continued under the direction of an investigating judge. Tuesday, November 16, it led to the arrest of seven people, including three inhabitants from Aucamville, in the suburbs of Toulouse. Aged 17, 20 and 30, they are considered to be the main organizers of traffic and frequently used “delivery men” from the City of Madrid, in the district of Sept-Deniers.
Message courses, sometimes with a “commercial vocation”
The investigators established that the network supplied a regular clientele of approximately “300 consumers” and that the deliveries took place 7 days a week, after exchange of court messages, sometimes with “commercial vocation”.
The three main suspects were brought before the judge on Friday. The others will be called charged and the investigation continues to identify other members of the network.
