Still recovering, Charlene of Monaco will not participate in Monaco’s national holiday
Monaco’s national holiday is held next November 19. If many festivities are scheduled for the occasion, Monegasques cannot however count on the presence of their princess, Charlene.
Indeed, in a press release released on Tuesday, the cabinet of Prince Albert II of Monaco said that Charlene, 43, was still recovering and that she still needed rest. “Her medical career having been severely tested in recent months, Princess Charlene will unfortunately not be able to participate in the National Day festivities this year alongside her family.“, details the press release.”As soon as her health allows her, it will be with joy that the princess will once again share moments of conviviality with the Monegasques.“.
The press release remains vague, however, on the real reasons for resting the princess, specifying only that she is recovering “from a state of deep fatigue” in a place kept “confidential”. Information on the recovery of the princess will however be communicated these weeks and before the Christmas holidays, assures the cabinet of Prince Albert II.
After a stay of several months in South Africa, her country of origin, Princess Charlene returned to the Rock at the beginning of November. His prolonged absence, justified by his medial problems, had fueled many rumors about the relationship, even suggesting a potential divorce between Albert II and Charlene.
